Short Biography
- Dr. A. K. Vashisht is a distinguished academician with over 47 years of teaching experience. He holds multiple degrees - M.Com., M.Phil., Ph.D., and LL.B. - and has made significant contributions to management education and research. He has served in key academic leadership roles, including Dean, Faculty of Business Management and Commerce (2012) and Chairman, University Business School (2012–2015) at Panjab University, Chandigarh, as well as Dean, PCJ School of Management, Maharaja Agrasen University, Baddi (2019–2021). An accomplished scholar, Dr. Vashisht has authored 12 books and published 53 research papers, besides guiding 44 Ph.D. scholars. His excellence has been recognized through several honors, including the Best Article Award (The Chartered Accountant, ICAI, 1991–92), the Bharat Gaurav Award (2010), and the Rashtriya Vidya Saraswati Puraskar (2014). He is also a member of expert panels in Management for both UGC and AICTE. Dr. Vashisht’s academic journey reflects a lifelong commitment to advancing education, research, and leadership in the field of business management.
