Anti-Ragging
We at JGND PSOU are committed to preventing ragging and strictly enforcing the laws on Anti-Ragging. To that end, an Anti-Ragging Squad and Anti-Ragging Committee have been formed as per UGC Regulations to look into, enquire and punish any incident of ragging in the institution. The National Anti-ragging helpline no. 1800-180-5522 and email id helpline@antiragging.in have been established for lodging complaints in addition. All students and their parents are mandatorily required to submit anti-ragging undertakings in all educational institutions.
Objectives:
The objective of anti-ragging initiatives is to prevent and eliminate ragging in educational institutions. Ragging, which involves any form of harassment, abuse, or bullying of new students by senior students, can have severe physical and psychological impacts.
Ragging refers to a form of harassment or bullying often experienced by new students in educational institutions, particularly in universities and colleges. It typically involves senior students subjecting newcomers to various forms of humiliation, coercion, or abuse.
