The Universal Human Values (UHV) Cell at the Jagat Guru Nanak Dev Panjab State Open University, Patiala, aims to provide stakeholders with a fulfilling, joyful life that meets their emotional and mental needs beyond basic survival. The UHV Cell seeks to spread a value system centred on brotherhood, friendship, empathy, compassion, listening, welcoming, acceptance, recognition, appreciation, honesty, loyalty, sharing, and solidarity. These values are not only necessary for being good human being a but also to have a better and a positive working environment with motivating and supportive relations. The objective of the cell is to provide students, researchers, non-teaching staff, and teachers with a comprehensive education so they can effectively contribute to the welfare and advancement of society.
