Dr. Sukhdev Singh is an Assistant Professor of Sikh Studies at Jagat Guru Nanak Dev Punjab State Open University, Patiala, Punjab. An accomplished academic and author, he has contributed extensively to the field of Sikh history and comparative religion, having written 20+ research papers and books in Punjabi and English.
With a Ph.D. in Religion from Punjabi University, Patiala, Dr. Singh has served in diverse academic roles, including as Director of International Affairs, Academic Council Member, and Editor of the research journal. His work reflects deep engagement in Sikh theology, interfaith studies, and historical research, particularly under the mentorship of historian Dr. Kirpal Singh.
Dr. Singh has also taught internationally through online platforms, delivering lectures across the USA, Germany, and Canada, and contributed to e-learning initiatives and textbook development. His books such as ਧਰਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਖੇਪ ਜਾਣ-ਪਛਾਣ and Who Was Responsible for the Punjab Tragedy of 1947? demonstrate his commitment to scholarship and dissemination of Sikh knowledge.
