Short Biography
- Dr. Nandita Singh, Professor of Education, started her research and teaching career in Panjab University, Chandigarh in 1985 on Teaching Fellowship and joined as permanent faculty in 1994. She has held several Academic and Administrative leadership positions. She remained Chairperson of Department of Education for three years; Coordinator, Interdisciplinary Centre for Swami Vivekananda Studies for more than eight years; Chief Coordinator of Institute for Educational Technology for more than four years; Dean Students Welfare for three terms; Dean International Students, Panjab University for two terms. She also served as Member of Panjab University Senate for four years; member of PU Syndicate for one term; member of Joint Research board for more than nine terms; member of Academic Council for more than seven terms. She has been a nominated member of Academic council of Banaras Hindu University (BHU) for three years and Central University of Punjab, Bhatinda for two years. She has been instrumental in arranging students exchange programs and signing MOUs between PU and Universities across the globe.
