Mr. Sarvarinder Singh is an Assistant Professor in
Punjabi at the School of Languages, Jagat
Guru Nanak Dev Punjab State Open
University, Patiala. He holds MA in
Punjabi and an M.Ed. from Punjabi
University, Patiala, and has qualified UGC-
NET, PTET, and CTET. His academic interest
and teaching areas include Punjabi Drama,
Punjabi Sufi Poetry, Punjabi Folklore, Punjabi
Narrative Poetry, Punjabi Short Story, and
Medieval Punjabi Literature. He has five
years of research experience as a Research
Fellow at Punjabi University, Patiala, and has
taught at Hans Raj Memorial College of
Education, Bajakhana. He has a deep
engagement with Punjabi literary traditions
and pedagogy. He has created e-content for
both undergraduate and postgraduate
courses and has also designed and edited
curricula for MA Punjabi programme. He has
presented papers in national and
international seminars and conferences,
presented special lectures in colleges
throughout Punjab, and participated in
workshops and faculty development
programmes at different universities. He has
also organized important academic events at
national and international levels, such as
conferences, seminars, and teacher training
workshops.
