Public Relations Cell, Jagat Guru Nanak Dev Punjab State Open University (JGND PSOU), Patiala, instituted in January 2023 by Prof. Karamjeet Singh, founder Vice-Chancellor, is an interface between the university and the public. JGND PSOU Public Relations Cell disseminates information about academic initiatives, achievements, policies and programs of the university to print and electronic media. The Public Relations Cell arranges press conferences, seminars, workshops, symposia, talent hunt skill enhancement and capacity- building programe. Public Relations facilitates collaborations with national and international organisations to organise events at JGND PSOU. It provides press coverage of the main functions of the university and releases press notes. JGND PSOU Public Relations Cell builds constructive understanding the vision and mission of the University. It provides content for the social media sites and website of the University. Effective communication regarding developmental programs organised by diverse cells, committees and Schools is a prominent feature of Public Relations.
