Short Biography
- Dr. Karan Sukhija is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the School of Sciences and Emerging Technologies, JGND Punjab State Open University (PSOU), Patiala. He holds a Ph.D., MCA, and BCA from Panjab University and brings with him over 13 years of teaching experience, having previously served in the Education Department, Punjab. His academic expertise lies in Educational Data Mining, Machine Learning, and Digital Education. He has authored research papers in reputed international journals and presented his work at numerous national and international conferences. Alongside his teaching and research, he has also held key administrative positions, including Head of the Admission Cell and Head of the Media Centre. Currently, he holds the additional administrative charge as Head, Planning and Development Cell, JGND PSOU, Patiala. At present, he also serves as the Programme Coordinator for M.Sc. (Computer Science) and has successfully led a state-level research project on the Smart School Policy of Punjab.
