Short Biography
- Mr. Gursandesh Singh is an Assistant Professor in English at the School of Languages, Jagat Guru Nanak Dev Punjab State Open University, Patiala. He earned his BA from Punjabi University, Patiala and MA in English from University of Delhi. He qualified UGC-NET and JRF in English. His academic interests include literary studies, cultural theory, and the intersections of literature with contemporary global issues. His teaching areas are Renaissance Drama, Prose, American Literature, World Classics, Indian Writing in English, and Communication Skills. He has developed e-content for undergraduate and postgraduate courses, designed and edited undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma curricula. He has presented papers at national and international conferences and seminars and participated in workshops and faculty development programmes at various national and state universities. He has also organized academic events of national and international repute, including conferences, seminars, and teacher training workshops.
