- Received Prof Manu M Shah Memorial Research Award and Gold Medal for the research paper entitled US and Chinese Financial Stress Levels: An Empirical Investigation of Interlinkages at 69 th All India Commerce Conference held at Faculty of Commerce, University of Lucknow, Lucknow from November 11-13, 2016.
- Received Prof Manu M Shah Memorial Research Award and Gold Medal for the research paper entitled Employees Perspective of Information Technology Adoption in Indian Banking Sector at 66 th All India Commerce Conference held at Department of Commerce, Bangalore University, Bangalore from December 5-7, 2013.
- Conferred the honor of Being the Fellow of Indian Commerce Association in 2014 for outstanding contribution in the field of Commerce and Management.
- Was graded excellent during annual performance evaluation exercise for year 2003 at Kigali Institute of Science, Technology and Management, Kigali, Rwanda.
International Exposure
- Served as Head of the Department of Finance at the Kigali Institute of Science, Technology and Management (now the National University of Rwanda) and played an active role in teaching, research, and training at an international level.
- Attended programs conducted by UNESCO in Paris and a program on "Competitiveness and Strategy" based on Harvard Business School case studies conducted by 'Onthefrontier' (USA)
- Distance Education course on The Management of University- Enterprise Partnerships and Income Generating Activities from 31 st March 2003 to 4 th July 2003 conducted by International Institute for Educational Planning, UNESCO, Paris.
- Worked with foreign universities as part of a UNDP assignment for over two years (2002-2004)
- Has been associated with Curtin University of Technology, Australia, as a course facilitator for Accounting and Finance courses
