The objective of the programme is to create a safe, healthy and stimulating environment. It promotes awareness of common human diseases and provides nutritional services to the patients. It supports first aid in the event of emergencies. It provides hygienic care services to the patients. It also monitors the well being (nail, foot, eye, ear etc.) of the patients.
Passed 10+2 in Non-Medical/Medical/Commerce/Arts or its equivalent examination stream conducted by Board recognized or established by Central/State Government through a legislation.

The learner is required to score at least 35% marks in both continuous evaluations (i.e.in assignments) as well as in semester end examinations separately. Besides, at least 40% marks in each course is required in the overall computation.
On successful completion of the one-Year Diploma course, the learner will earn 36 credits for the Programme and shall be awarded a certificate
